Maliheh is an experimentalist researcher and Ph.D. candidate in structure engineering (faculty of civil engineering). She has underground infrastructure construction qualification and professional experience. Her research interest is the investigation of multifunctional properties of a laboratory-developed nanocomposite synthetized from waste alkali activated materials and carbon nanotubes. These properties include mechanical, electrical, and thermoelectric characteristics with the focus on being a smart and sustainable structural sensor. For doing her PhD at TUD, she has a collaboration with the Institute of Construction Materials (Prof. Viktor Mechtcherine & Dr. Marco Liebscher) and the Institute for Materials Science, Chair of Materials Science and Nanotechnology (Prof. Gianaurelio Cuniberti & Dr. Massimo Sgarzi).
