On March 20, 2023, we had a great symposium on olfaction at the TUD Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD). Top researchers from Dresden and beyond studying the sense of smell met to present their latest results dedicated to smelling machines from cells to human to robots and updated on fascinating smelling machines innovations.
The work presented ranges from basic research, studying the sense of smell with the use of stem cells, animal models, and humans, to researching new technologies that can mimic or enhance smelling abilities. The symposium was followed by a social hour and a small exhibition, in which we presented our latest developments in olfactory navigation, the 8 chnannel multidirection e-nose and a small vehicle steered by olfactory e-nose measurements.
