Tahereh Ghane studied Physics at Ferdowsi University (Mashhad, Iran) from 2001 to 2005. She got her M.Sc. in Condensed Matter Physics at the same University in 2008 where she did her thesis under the supervision of Dr. Nasser Shahtahmasebi working on "investigating the influence of solitons on the conductance of DNA using the Green's function method". In June 2008 she got the Pre-Doc position and fellowship at the Istituto di Nanoscienze CNR in Modena, Italy, in the group of Dr. Rosa Di Felice. In January 2009, Tahereh got the ministerial fellowship and Ph.D. position in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the Universita di Modena e Reggio Emilia in Italy where she got the opportunity to investigate and study the properties (dynamics+electronics) of novel soft-matter DNAs in the Group of Dr. Di Felice. After finishing Ph.D. in December 2011, she stayed at the same group as a Post-Doc till March 2013. During her Post-Doc she was studying the DNA-protein interaction using classical Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations. Since March 2013, she joined the group of Prof. Cuniberti. Here she planed to work on the electronic properties of functionalized nanoparticle network.
