Sri Aashrita Boddu is studying Metallurgical Engineering (major) and Biomedical Engineering (minor) at Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), Varanasi. She spent the summer after her sophomore year (May 2022 - July 2022) at the Laboratory for Advanced Manufacturing and Finishing Processes (LAMFiP), in the department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, working on the project titled “Investingating Planar Front Evolution Under Directional Solidification”. Aashrita is currently part of the Electron Microscopy & Microanalysis Group at IIT - BHU, Varanasi and is working on her Bachelors degree project based on “Nanoarchitechtonics of materials for patterning skyrmions”. She will graduate in May 2024.
From May 2023, she joined the chair in Dr. Al Aiti’s group as a Summer Reaearch Intern at TU Dresden, under the DAAD - WISE scholarship to work on “In-situ high temperature Raman Spectroscopy of highly oriented Carbon allotropes”.
