Quirina Roode-Gutzmer obtained her M.Sc. in crystallography (structural chemistry) from the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa). Her fields of interest has been applied crystallography, applied mathematics and modelling in material science. Currently she is working with Dr. Manfred Bobeth on modelling thermal behaviour in Lithium-ion batteries.
