former Research assistant
Stay period: | Oct. 1, 2023 - March 31, 2024 |
Group: | tribology of nanomaterials |
Mehreen Shahzadi studied for her Master's in ´Nanosciences and Engineering´ at the National University of Science and Technology. Her research thesis focused on synthesizing and characterizing tertiary nanocomposites (CuS/PPY/GNPs) as electrode materials for supercapacitor applications. She joined the Chair of Materials Science and Technology in October 2023 as a research assistant in the nanotribology group to assist on the two projects, i.e., "Multiple contact friction with laser-induced periodic surface structures" and "Sliding contact in liquid environments", employing atomic force microscopy.
