Julian studied biology at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen from 2008 to 2011. He got his Bachelor of Science on the function of XPO1/EBF1 in miRNA biogenesis with Dr. Sascha Laubinger. In Oct 2012 he started his master course "Molecular Bioengineering" at the BIOTEC of TU Dresden. For his master thesis he joined the group InnovaSens of Prof. Gianaurelio Cuniberti, where he worked on droplet-based microfluidics combined with silicon nanowires. He continued his work in our chair in the project "BioPlasNano" in January 2014 as a PhD student.
