Ignacio carried out his bachelor studies at the science faculty of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) obtaining his degree as Physicist in 2009. In 2009 he moved to the city of Dresden, to study in the master course Nanobiophysics at TU Dresden. He performed his master thesis work on the synthesis of one-dimensional boron nanostructures via chemical vapor deposition. In 2011 he successfully graduated being awarded with a Master of Science degree. In 2012 he joined our group to pursue his Doctorate degree on the synthesis and characterization of novel boron nanostructures.
