former Team member

Stay period:Jan. 1, 2011 - Dec. 30, 2012

Dan studied Physics and Biophysics at the National University of Singapore from 2006 to 2010. In 2010 she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with concentration on Applied Physics with a thesis on nano- and micro-structure of silkworm silk.

In 2010 she joined the Erasmus Mundus Master Programme of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and spent her first year at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). In October 2011 she started her second Master year at TU Dresden under the specialization of Nanobiophysics. She joined our group in MBZ to work towards her Master thesis on the detection of microorganism growth with novel microfluidic-resonance biosensors.
