Christian studied Biotechnology at the Beuth-Hochschule für Technik in Berlin (Germany) and did his Bachelor's thesis at the Medical Research Council / Clinical Sciences Centre - Imperial College of London where he studied the DNA Replication mechanism in yeast. After his Bachelor programme he went to the Bayer Pharma AG in Berlin for an internship in the field of Target Discovery for new drug developments. Since October 2012 Christian is a master student at the TU-Dresden within the international master's programme "Molecular Bioengineering". Besides he obtained more experiences in regenerative medicine whilst working at the Max-Planck-Institute for cell biology and genetics in the group of Prof. Dr. Elly Tanaka. In October 2013, Christian joined the interdisciplinary young investigators group "InnoMedTec" supervised by Lars Renner.
