Anna Kulis is a Doctoral Student in the field of Electronics, in the Department of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology (SUT), Gliwice, Poland.
She is working on semiconductor nanostructures, e.g. ZnO, SnO2, in combination with dopants and their surface properties in the aspect of toxic gas sensors.
For her PhD she went for an internship at the Technical University in Dresden (Germany), where she joined the group of Professor Gianaurelio Cuniberti, and she plans to work on the photocatalytic applications of metal-doped nanostructures.
She studied Macrocourse at SUT, which is an interdisciplinary study of Automatic Control and Robotics, Electronics and Telecomunications, Informatics. There she achieved Bachelor's and Master's Degrees with a specialization in Informatics.
During her Bachelor studies, she took part in the Erasmus program for one year at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Technology Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), where she studied Computer Science. She also spent one year as Erasmus+ Student at TUD, where she studied Computer Science at Master Level.
