Andreas studied Mechanical Engineering at the TU Dresden and received his Diploma on the numerical investigation of copper-magneto-electrolyses in 2008. Then he started his PhD at the University of Bayreuth, where he worked with Professor Aksel and Professor Fery on the rheology of polyelectrolyte multilayer modified colloidal suspensions. From 2010 to 2013 he was a research associate at the Chair of Fluid Dynamics at TU Freiberg. In September 2013 Andreas joined the group of Professor Cuniberti where he studies the heat generation in Lithium ion batteries.
