Ali Khadem graduated from Iran’s Yazd University with a BSc degree in Nuclear Physics in 2014 and continued in the field of Plasma Engineering at Shahid Beheshti university where he worked on degradation of various VOCs through DBD plasma reactors. He developed a novel design for the reactor and made use of a diverse range of sensors and methods including Gas Chromatography (GC) in order to analyse the results. He is currently working with Professor Cuniberti’s team on smart olfaction and e-nose sensing using Mxenes.
