Adam studied physics at Technische Universität Dresden from 2006 and finished 2012 with his diploma thesis on the topic "Analysis of the focusing ability of hard X-rays using Multilayer Laue lenses" under the guidance of Prof. Schroer. He joined the "ENano - Nanoanalysis for Energy Technologies" young researchers group in September 2012 as PhD student and continues his work on the topic of diffractive X-ray optics with the focus on modeling and the fabrication of Multilayer Laue Lenses for highest resolution X-ray analytics at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Beam Technology (IWS).
